Dilthey Corporation, or Dilthey, is an engineering hyper corporation, one of the Hexarchs, and a faction in Quasimorph.

Background

Dilthey is an engineering hyper corporation. The Keeper of the Belt, as it is sometimes called by its envious admirers or embittered competitors, which, in the ancap system, is often the same thing. With its incredible successes, Dilthey reminds us that success comes to those who are able to combine fundamental science and engineering excellence, new social conditions and an irrepressible desire to improve human life.

The Dilthey Corporation can best be described through its history. Having grown out of the ruins of the old order in the midst of the Great Anarchist Revolution, the corporation does not directly come from any major conglomerate. At the beginning of its journey, several medical corporations teamed up with an ambitious engineering concern to jointly research human adaptation to life in space. The medical part of the corporation focused on psychology and psychiatry, conducting numerous studies on how the human psyche reacts to the new extreme conditions of the space environment. The results of this research allowed the Dilthey engineering branch to develop space stations and residential complexes taking into account the psychological and physiological needs of humans.

During the fierce conflicts on Earth and Mars, Dilthey did not engage in direct combat, focusing instead on reclaiming the Main Belt and some of the Outer System's moons. Despite this, Dilthey's propaganda claims that they played a decisive role in securing the GAR's victory in these regions, defending them from loyalist and civilian armies. These conflicts were less destructive than the battles on the inner planets, but allowed Dilthey to consolidate their position and pave the way for future dominance in space engineering.

Today, Dilthey is one of the leading players in the construction and exploration of space. The corporation implements projects to create artificial planets, build cities inside asteroids, and change the orbits of small celestial bodies. In addition, the corporation offers educational programs in space engineering, applied psychology, space sociology, and even new philosophy. These programs are especially popular among those who want not only to work in space, but also to take part in its transformation for the benefit of corporations.
