Active perks are triggered automatically when the activation conditions are met. Each ability has its own trigger. After activation, the character receives temporary bonuses and experience, gradually improving that ability. Passive perks are active constantly and also improve if the character performs the actions specified in the perk text: shoots from a certain weapon, moves while overloaded, and so on.
Starting Classes
Two starting classes are available at the beginning when a new run is started.

Additional classes are unlocked via Class Chip found as loot during a mission, as mission reward or from trading with Corporations.
