The Civil Resistance is a resistance group that opposes the corporations and their ancap reign of the Solar System to fight and overthrow them for control of it, and is a terrorist organization and faction in Quasimorph.

Background

The Civil Resistance (CR) is a terrorist organization waging a long-term struggle against the anarcho-capitalist order, against the ancap system. Their goal is to restore states, which, in their opinion, are capable of returning control and order, "which they prefer to the unbridled chaos of anarcho-capitalism". Despite the dubious goal of restoring the old state system and comprehensive control over personal freedom, they continue to recruit supporters among low-ranking workers who have lost faith in equal opportunities.

The CR's operations are always carefully planned and covert. Even if they resort to direct actions, it always comes as a surprise.

The CR soldiers, known as colnodes, are humans altered by advanced psychotechniques, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology, allowing them to act with unprecedented cruelty and endurance. The main hypothesis regarding the nature of the colnodes is that they do not have the so-called phenomenal consciousness, which in normal people wastes too much energy and inhibits natural reflexes. Colnodes are known for their astounding combat effectiveness and ruthlessness. There is a theory that they do not feel pain, fear, or other human emotions, recognizing these states only as indicators: damage, danger, and so on. It is believed that these changes allow them to fight to the last, without fear of death. It is possible that this is not due to psychotechnics and medicine. Some sociologists believe that the CR uses enough propaganda to manipulate mind and deprive people of basic human qualities in the name of the fanatical goal.

The organization's roots are in the remnants of the old state armies that were defeated in the fight against corporations during the Great Anarchist Revolution. On their basis, underground groups were allegedly created, which laid the foundation for the CR. However, how and why these groups turned into an army of colnodes, where they got the corresponding technologies from is unknown. Although the CR fights to restore what they call "order and justice", in reality they seek to return humanity to the control of state institutions, which, as everyone knows, is just a form of slavery. Their actions cause significant damage to corporations, making the Civil Resistance a significant threat to the ancap system.

An ordinary Civil Resistance combatant. A fanatic absolutely devoted to the cause of the Revolution. Whatever they are brainwashed with - drugs or psychotechnics, it works very well.

Colnode who was given the most powerful weapon available and sent to die for the ideas of the Revolution.
